PACT is a national centre for exploration and presentation of uniquely Australian, inter-disciplinary and experimental performance by early career artists, for audiences attracted to new and inquisitive approaches.
PACT feeds the ecology of artistic practice in Australia by providing a centre for early career artists that make performing arts works that push past the boundaries of traditional, mainstream and single artform practices.
PACT’s mission is to create, produce and present inter-disciplinary and experimental contemporary performance, form professional networks and exchange skills. The company provides unique and strategic opportunities for critical dialogue, skills development, creative development, production, presentation and programming of new work.
As Artistic Director/CEO, Cat Jones was responsible for leading artistic practice for the PACT Ensemble and other events, artistic programming for the company’s year round program of performances, talks, forums, workshops and festivals and one off initiatives, mentoring of artists and curators, creative producing, business and strategic planning, financial planning and performance, partnerships, stakeholder relationships and more.
